FIVE18 Counseling counselors are Licensed or have completed their Masters Degree.

Every client at FIVE18 Counseling indirectly receives the care of a licensed professional counselor. Free or low-cost counseling with caring and compassionate counselors-in-training. We remove barriers and don’t sacrifice excellence. At FIVE18 Family Services Counseling, our focus is on our clients.

We respect our clients’ right to make their own decisions and believe that trust is the most valuable facet of the counselor/client partnership. Without trust, the client won’t be comfortable opening up to let you listen and begin the journey to health and healing. Whatever barriers that have kept you from counseling in the past are not a barrier with FIVE18 Counseling. FIVE18 Counseling offers services in Wyndhurst (Lynchburg), Appomattox, South Boston, Danville, Brookneal, Altavista, and Bedford, as well as at our primary office in Downtown Lynchburg (on the bus line, with free parking), offering free or low-cost counseling with our caring and compassionate counselors-in-training.

We remove barriers and don’t sacrifice excellence. Medicaid and commercial insurance are accepted. The counselors-in-training come as graduate students or resident counselors working towards licensure. Although clients do not meet with a Licensed Professional Counselor, our client receives the support and care of an LPC who provides weekly supervision, ensuring quality services for the client.
